ON LINE BETA CHAPTER
OF BETA SIGMA PHI
BY-LAWS

ARTICLE I
The name of this chapter by the authority of the Executive Council shall be ON LINE BETA, OL102, Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

The motto of this chapter shall be "Sisters With The Key To Friendship."

ARTICLE II
Meetings
This Chapter shall follow a Career Chapter format. Regular meetings shall be held at times fixed by a majority vote of the chapter. It shall be at the discretion of the President to extend the length of the meeting if Chapter business requires it.

The meetings of the Chapter shall be held via e-mail.

The meetings of the Executive Board shall be held via a method agreed upon by the members of the Executive Board.

ARTICLE III
Programs
One program a month shall be given. Subject shall be announced by the Program Committee on the last day of the Chapter meeting.

The time set for members to send in their programs shall be anytime after the close of the Chapter meeting until the last day of that month.

ARTICLE IV
A - Quorum
A quorum shall be 2/3 of the active membership of the Chapter.

B - Voting
A majority vote of "yes" of the members present at a meeting shall carry the vote.

ARTICLE V
Fees
Regular fees of this Chapter shall be $5 per member per year, due at the June meeting, and to be paid no later than the August meeting.

New members who join the Chapter on February 1 or later shall be exempt from paying dues for that year.

Other fees can be imposed by the Executive Board with voted approval of the membership as needed.

A member in good standing is one whose fees are paid up to date. Members with delinquent fees past 3 months, without the approval of the Executive Board, will be considered not in good standing and will lose their voting privileges.

Members not in good standing may be dropped from Chapter membership by the decision of the Executive Board.

ARTICLE VI
Amendments
Amendments, additional By-Law not in conflict with the constitution of Beta Sigma Phi or the rules and regulations of the Executive Council may be passed by 2/3 of the members counted as present.

Such changes must be presented via e-mail to the Chapter thirty days before adoption. Amendments and any additions to the By-Laws must be sent to the International Office of Beta Sigma Phi for approval by the International Executive Council.
